hannah guy
I like Hannah Guy because her work is good in its own way because its a different style to what people usually do. She makes people think about her work because she edits her photo( using Photoshop ) by getting 3 pictures that she took of the same pictures and then combines them but as she adds on pictures she adds a faint affect which makes it look like its blurry and mysterious. This could influence my work because I could use the technique that she uses and create my own photo’s that looks similar to hers but i could also mess around in Photoshop to see if i can add things to get a higher level, this is an example of her work.
I have been looking at how I could relate my work to Hannah Guy's work and I found a piece of work on her page that I thought was fascinating, heres the link.
The reason I liked that piece of work was because it related to my work a lot. She takes pictures of still things and try's to create an effect to the point were it looks like its moving. Theres a quote that I got from lensculture.com by Halla Beloff that I think is great for the project I'm working on.
"A photograph is so absolutely still and yet it is produced from what is alive and lively. The most tranquil, lonely landscape is completely dynamic compared with a photograph of it."

The next photographer I wanted to research was Ernst Haas, this is because he is a photographer that uses blur for most of he pictures. As this is pretty much what I am doing now, I wanted to research him so see what certain skills I could use to make my pictures better. These are some of his photo's.
I am very impressed by the way he uses photography as a way of expressing movement with people. His work has inspired me because the photographs taken of him are very emotive and reflective of human life.
Ernst Haas was a photojournalist and a pioneering color photographer. During his 40-year career, the Austrian-born artist bridged the gap between photojournalism and the use of photography as a medium for expression and creativity. He was born on March 2, 1921 in Vienna, Austria. He died September 12, 1986 in New York City, New York, United States. Ernst Haas (1921–1986) is acclaimed as one of the most celebrated and influential photographers of the 20th century and considered one of the pioneers of color photography.

Another Photographer that has inspired me is Alexey Titarenko. Alexey Viktorovich Titarenko is a Russian photographer and artist, he was born on November 25, 1962 (age 53) in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
These are a few of his photo's about movement.
I like Alexey's work because this work is all about movement and mobility. This is what I'm trying to show in my work so I thought it was good idea to research him and see what methods and techniques he is using to try and use them in my own. When I look at these photo's all I can think about is movement and this is what I want to portray in my photo's.
Eadweard Muybridge (born April 9, 1830 and died May 8, 1904 Kingston upon Thames) was an English photographer important for his pioneering work in photographic studies of motion, and early work in motion-picture projection. He adopted the name Eadweard Muybridge, believing it to be the original Anglo-Saxon form of his name. He is one of many that have inspired me. He has inspired me to take me panning to a different level. Eadweard gets a subject like a human or an animal and as they move he takes pictures every few seconds so he captures them moving just like a gif, after this there is a set of pictures that he puts together in a group. I will show you his work so you can get a better understanding of what I am talking about.

Eadweard is mostly know for motion photography, this links to my work heavily as the project I am working on is based on movement. I like how he puts a bunch of pictures together and makes it look like a gif but in a sequence. It may come as a surprise in the twenty-first century to discover that in the 1880s, details of how objects move were unknown. This links to my work because when I made aconnection from my first ever photo's to the ones I recently mde their was change and you could easily see it just like Muybridge's work. The human eye, unaided, cannot resolve the details of fast motion. Eadweard Muybridge and his experiments with motion photography, such as this series of pictures of a horse's gait helped solve this mystery.
Muybridge created a special camera with a revolving shutter and used this to prove that horses when galloping are sometimes not in contact with the ground, this series of pictures of a horse's gait helped solve this mystery. I was inspired by this by the way he sets out his pictures and how he had an objective and he eventually proved himself right.
