Here is a contact sheet of some photo's i took with a NIKON D-LSR digital camera and a body cap with an opening over which i have stuck some foil which is pierced by a tiny hole to create the pinhole.
These are my first set of images so as i progress and learn more i will improve my photo's and the layout of my photo's, i will get inspiration from a lot of photographers or maybe just one.

This is the work of Stefan Killen, some of his work is based of Pinhole Photography which is what I'm working on right now and thats why i have chosen to do my research on him because his work is outstanding.
I like how he has used a high contrast on the photo's and he has added a blur to them to make it look like you can't really see their faces, but he hasn't blurred it a lot just so you can see them, i also liked how he has used vignette to make the black outline around the photo.

Here is one of my photo's and one of Stefan Killen's photo's (Right is his, Left is mine).
In my photo I went into photoshop and went on 'Filter' then 'Lens Correction' then added vignette, I added this effect because i liked how Killen used it in his photo's and I wanted to add it to my work as an inspiration. I like the effect because it makes you instantly concentrate on the middle of the photo because around the photo is black, dull and boring.
I am going to make a portrait collection of people using Pinhole Photography and vignette and blur as Killen used, I like how you can hardly see the people but then it makes your mind try and focus more onto the photo.

I kept the lighting on my photo because i wanted my photo to kind of look like a flashback where its blurred in the middle and its black around edges. It brings out the effect because you can't really see whats in the picture and it makes you wonder and think about the picture.
